Brett Lieberman

Clinical Director

Brett Lieberman is the Clinical Director at Valor Ridge and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than a decade of experience providing trauma-informed, evidence-based care to individuals and couples. He believes that better tomorrows are always possible—with the right guidance, structure, and support along the way.

Brett specializes in working with trauma, including complex and chronic trauma, substance use concerns, anger management, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and everyday stressors. His clinical approach is practical, compassionate, and goal-oriented, helping clients develop emotional regulation, insight, and sustainable coping strategies that translate into meaningful, real-world change.

He holds a Master of Science degree in Human Services from Capella University and a postgraduate certificate in Addiction Counseling. Brett is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in North Carolina, Maine, and Florida, where he has been licensed since 2013. He is also a Qualified Supervisor in Florida, supporting the development of future clinicians through supervision and mentorship.

In addition, Brett is a Certified Anger Management Specialist and a Certified Rapid Resolution Therapist, utilizing advanced trauma-focused techniques to help clients process difficult experiences safely and effectively. As Clinical Director, Brett oversees program development, clinical quality, and continuity of care across Valor Ridge’s Virtual Outpatient (OP) and Virtual Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs.
