Nate Poke
Nate Poke serves as an Advisor and Peer Support Specialist at Valor Ridge, bringing over 14 years of law enforcement experience as a Police Sergeant in Minnesota. A respected leader within his department, Nate understands firsthand the operational stress, cultural expectations, and silent burdens carried by those who serve.
Beyond the badge, Nate is a devoted husband and father of three, and a Minnesota-based realtor who specializes in serving first responders, healthcare professionals, and veterans - helping them navigate major life transitions with someone who truly understands their world.
Nate’s impact at Valor Ridge is deeply personal. He lives with complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorder - conditions that are often invisible but profoundly felt. He has faced suicidal ideation, battled shame, and experienced the isolation that can exist even in the presence of community. He knows what it means to show up strong on the outside while struggling internally.
Through therapy, peer connection, and relentless personal growth, Nate has committed to a path of transparency, healing, and purpose. He believes strength is not silence - it is honesty. At Valor Ridge, he uses his lived experience to create culturally safe spaces for first responders to speak openly, seek support, and reclaim their lives.
Nate’s mission is simple but powerful: break the stigma, redefine strength, and ensure that no one in uniform feels alone in their fight.
